The fall

This weekend has been taken up with topping off the plinth walls with cement and incorporating a slight fall between the inner and outer leaves in preparation for the installation of the plinth wall plates. This outward slope will allow any water that should penetrate the junction between the plinth and the cruck frames to drain away rather than pooling on the wall plate.
