String theory

Luke, who is making our staircase, brought the strings for the bottom step over this week so that Mark could see what he needed to build to support it. Having made some changes to the design as outlined in a previous post (see here) the headroom on the bottom step will now be 20mm greater than the minimum headroom required by building regs.

Hopefully Luke will finish making the staircase by the end of the month and we can then arrange a local joiner to come and install it.
