Beam/Block floor complete

Steve put the finishing touches to the B&B sub-floor this morning and has now left the site.

The next phase is the construction of the plinth walls which support the cruces. Apparently brickies are in short supply. We do have a couple of names to contact. We're also considering doing the block-work ourselves! Either way I am reticent to start before we get the timber frame calculations. The longer we wait for these the more uneasy I'm getting that there is a disparity between the plans as drawn and approved and the requirements of the design. Our contact at Vision was out of the office today so Mark will chase in the morning.
