Kicking up a dust

The top of the plinth wall is 5 block courses above the surface of the block and beam floor. We need to bring the outer leaf walls and the inner leaf wall at the garden end up to the top of the block and beam. Unfortunately this is less than a block height and necessitates the of cutting of a large number of blocks. We have bought a disc cutter for less than the cost of hiring one for 3 weeks. It is made by evolution and guaranteed for 2 years so it should see us a good way through the project although it's unlikely we'll have the block paving done within that time. There were some breeze blocks left over from the foundation walls so Mark has been able to make a start on the cutting whilst we await delivery of our blocks from Bradfords.
