A no show

The I-beams weren't delivered yesterday as expected. We have been promised that they will be with us this morning. Unfortunately we haven't been able to arrange help to unload at such short notice (plus we had already additional hands on site yesterday) so we are hoping that the driver will be able to help us.
Lew had come over to help us unload so while we waited for the delivery that never came he and Mark fixed the sole plate for the gable end at the front of the house.
We are going to erect the ground floor gable end wall before raising the first cruck. This will give us an anchor point and something to connect the cruck to to give it more rigidity.
