We're still standing

Storm Angus huffed and puffed last night but failed to blow our straw house down. The sea wall at Swanage didn't fare so well. The storm also delivered a LOT of rain which caused much surface flooding including at the bottom of our garden.

The forecast is for more wet and windy weather tonight. The winds are not expected to be a strong as last night. It is more rain that is a cause for concern. There is a Met Office warning for rain and a flood alert for the Upper River Frome.

This beautiful double rainbow occurred over Godlingston Heath yesterday morning BEFORE the deluge.
