Loose straw mountain

We have a surplus of loose straw. We need a certain amount of it to stuff into gaps between the bales and rib beams. But we have much, much more than we need for that.

If we had a garden rather than a building site I would use the loose straw as a mulch. As it is I am growing a straw mountain down by the compost bins.
