Time-out

There was no-one else on site today and as Elsa has not had much variation in walks during the past couple of weeks we decided to take her for a swim in the river at Throop and a walk through Piddle Woods to view the bluebells. When we got to Throop it was overrun with BT Openreach vehicles replacing telegraph poles through the valley. We drove on through Briantspuddle before eventually finding a spot to park. We got our walk Piddle Wood but Elsa had to be content with a splash in the ford at Turners Puddle rather than the intended swim.
