A false start

Yesterday the roofers arrived to begin tiling. They had expected the timber for the battens to be delivered on Tuesday. When it wasn't they were told it would be the first delivery on Wednesday. It wasn't. It was finally delivered late yesterday morning. When the tilers came to use it they realised that it was the wrong size (It seems the wrong size was ordered rather than the company delivering the wrong size). The timber delivered was the size used for concrete tiles rather than the clay tiles that we will be using.

The tilers left to go to another job and will return next Tuesday or Wednesday. Later yesterday afternoon the correct timber was delivered and the wrong removed.
