Header, saddle and cripples

Before we could begin to lay the UFH piping Mark had to build a stud wall to support the manifold. He couldn't attach the wall stud to the floor (no floor yet) and so used some heafty coach screws to suspended it from the ceiling I-beams. The air source heat pump will also eventually be attached to this wall so the studs needed to be fairly substantial. Even so it might be a tad over-engineered Mark!
