The temporary 'windows' at either end of the house have been removed in preparation for the installation of the windows this week.
The good news is that the dry spell that we wished for has materialised. The bad news is that temperatures are below freezing and we are being blasted by the Beast from the East - cold winds from Siberia. Fingers crossed the windows are in by Thursday when snow and blizzards are forecast!
